Guam Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Family Violence Webinar #2

The National Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance Center and the Guam Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Family Violence will host a 5 hour virtual training over two days that examines how to recognize the signs of trauma and deliver trauma-informed care to patients and clients who have experienced human trafficking in Pacific Islander and Native Hawaiian communities. At the end of the training, participants will be able to do the following:

 

  1. Recognize the signs of trauma exposure that individuals who have experienced trafficking may present.
  2. Identify basic trauma-informed interventions.
  3. Apply a trauma-informed approach to working with individuals who have experienced trafficking.
  4. Describe methods for honoring cultural practices while providing support to individuals who have experienced trafficking.
