SOAR for Communities (WI)

By applying a public health approach, the 6-week SOAR for Communities training seeks to build the capacity of organizations to identify and respond to the complex needs of individuals who are at risk of trafficking, currently experiencing trafficking, or who have experienced trafficking. This training focuses on enhancing strategic partnerships, evaluating current responses to human trafficking, and strengthening community capabilities to respond effectively to trafficking.

After completing the SOAR for Communities training, learners will be able to:

  • Apply the SOAR framework to identify community needs in developing a multidisciplinary public health response to human trafficking
  • Evaluate your community’s current response to human trafficking and identify strengths as well as areas for improvement
  • Apply a public health approach to develop an action plan to expand the current response to human trafficking in your community
